From Hurt To His Healing!!!

When you don't see a way out... look to Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life!!!

2020 was hard for everyone, but this was unlike anything I had ever walked through in my life. I was born and raised in a Christian home, I was saved at the age of 7, received the Holy Ghost at the age of 14, it was not a thing of not knowing. In February, our pastor died and left the church and organization to my dad. Everything was going great until someone in the church tried to put a member of their family in as pastor and my dad had to correct them; from there, things went downhill. That family fought us and God on every turn and in every direction. I got to where I didn't even want to go to church, it was such a struggle to get up and sing every service knowing that your heart isn't really in it because of the resistance. By July, things had crashed and exploded at the bottom. They changed the locks on us, my dad talked to a lawyer and that lawyer told him to go change the locks back, so he did. When that family saw we were in the church property without someone letting us in, they called the cops. By the end of the day, four cop cars were in a church parking lot and they escorted us and another family off the property. I was hurt deep by this. Just to see those who call themselves "Christians" treating the man of God and his family like this... it was painful. As the days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, I became angry, depressed, confused, fearful, I questioned God, I doubted Him on everything. I was miserable; I was about to give up on everything... even God.

But out of the hurt came His healing!

One Sunday in September, God reached down, pulled me up, set me on the rock, and told me that the past has to die for Him to do what He wants to in my life. He took the pain and filled me with His peace, joy, love, grace, and forgiveness. He restored my life to where He wants me to be! I know He's not done in me, I can see the final destination He is leading me to; I may not know what will be between now and then, but my life is in His hands, and that's where it is safe!

Jesus has chosen me for my generation, and to the best of my ability, I will boldly stand for Christ until the day He calls me home!
