From hell to hope
I am 45. I have five children and I owe it every bit to my heavenly father for being alive, sober and current today in my children’s lives. I had a crazy childhood, no father, a mother that was somewhat broken. That was the most amazing a brother that died to drugs sister that’s still out there waiting to die for drugs as I sit here alone in life. As I used to feel so alone now my heart screams with joy, knowing that I have an amazing father, and that my mother in heaven can look down and be proud of me and my kids have somebody to look up to. I owe it all to God and my children. Thank you.
Before I received eternal life, I was afraid of failing my children and my mother who is in heaven
Almost 3 years ago I got incarcerated. I had several failure to appears in some cases. I need to clean up sitting in Greensburg jail as I had my guy from Kokomo Matt, who ran God‘s house, bring me and turn me in because I could not give my life fully to God if I didn’t get the stuff taken care of it was the start of a new beginning, but wasn’t easy
I always believe in God, but until I went to sober living in Kokomo to God‘s house, I was always so closed off, but there I had people show me what caring about me really was and helped guide me closer to my journey with God and that’s where it started
Now that I have an eternal life, I do not have to fear being alone and feeling alone in life because all long I’ve had the best father a guy could’ve ever asked for
I was always wanting to stay out of trouble, but as things got hard, I lost my mother. I lost my brother and picked up something that I knew better and should’ve never methamphetamine and from that point on I ended up losing my kids, my wife, my house, my dogs and myself completely. I did not lose my kids permanently, but for a year, my life was an utter disarray and I didn’t think there was anything left for me to do except die that God had a different plan.
If I were to die today, I could die peacefully, knowing that my heavenly father loved me and as me and my kids connect with our journey to getting close with God, I would be at peace, knowing God would take over where I now left off
Your testimony matters too
