FROM ETERNAL INSECURITY to ETERNAL SECURITY!

Before I received Eternal Life I always felt as if there was something missing. Incompleteness.

My life before Christ wasn't really all that bad, as far as I knew. I was pretty much getting what I had wanted and strived for and was fulfilling my ambitions and desires. However from time to time I would come across a feeling or thought that something was missing. Something was incomplete..... I mean, as far as I knew, everyone was doing what I was doing and living, sex, drugs, rock n roll ya know? I was a drummer in a band playing music rockin all night, partying every day.

Then, one day, someone, a friend and brother bandmate told me he had received Eternal Life through Jesus and shared with me how I could have it too. And I responded to the affirmative and received it!

Since I have received Eternal Life I have complete peace concerning my future.

To illustrate, even after becoming a Christian, or Christ follower, or disciple or Born Again or whatever one would term it, I did not have peace concerning my Eternal Security. Then a friend and brother in Christ, shared with me scripture concerning Eternal Security and since then I have come to have complete faith in what the written Word says about my future. My Eternal Future is with Jesus!

Moreover, I can now say for certain that I possess eternal life! I know for certain that when my body dies, I will go to be with God in Heaven!
