From Emptiness to Peace and Purpose
Without Christ, I chased fun and thrills that I thought would make me feel happy. The more I chased them, the worse I felt. After receiving eternal life, Christ gave me a new sense of peace and purpose in spite of difficult circumstances. Since that time, He continues to work on my character and make me more and more into His image.
Before I received eternal life, life felt empty and seemed to have no purpose.
I chased after thrills and liked to party, but the more I chased the emptier I felt.
Then I accepted eternal life and things began to rapidly change.
Now that I have eternal life, my life has a sense of peace and purpose that wasn't there before.
I moved to Phoenix, Arizona from a small town in South Dakota and lived by myself for ten months. Even though it was lonely, God helped me through that tough time.
Now that I have eternal life, I know that Jesus will bring me to heaven when I die.
