From "Death" to "Life"

I experienced worry and anxiety about going to hell.

I was raised in a religion home; went to church every Sunday.

Heard the preacher talk about Hell; knew I didn’t want to go there. So, at the age of 12, I joined church one Wednesday night along with several of my other friends.

I gave my life to Christ.

I lived what I considered a “good life” but I had no real Christ-connection. At the age of 24, on drugs (both legal and illegal), in the midst of a broken marriage, Christ made Himself known to me in an undeniable way. He spoke into my spirit saying “I want you to carry my Word!” My initial response was “Not me!, why don’t you send my brother?” Although I was a licensed pharmacist, because of my drug involvement, the only job I could get at that time was security guard at a stock yard unloading cattle. I had fallen just that low but I was still rebellious. Driving to work I would listen to Dr. Charles Stanley. His words (empowered by the Spirit) convicted me and I gave my life totally to Christ. Shortly after that I got my life back, my wife back, my profession back, and my joy back. It is such a privilege to know that God truly cares!!

If I die today, I know that I will go to be with the Lord, because Christ died to my sins and is right now making intercession for me before the throne of Father God!
