Freedom for an Anxious Heart

Before I received eternal life, I was a very anxious person.

I used to wrestle a lot with fear of the future and thinking I would die too soon. My young self wrestled with lots of nightmares and anxiety attacks. I remember just getting so tired of always being afraid.

I heard for the first time what Jesus had done for me out of his love. I knew that I wanted and needed a relationship with Him.

Now that I have a relationship with Jesus, I no longer worry about my life or fear death.

I was always nervous to live far away from home, but when God led me to move to East Texas and study ministry I had so much peace. I knew that He was with me and would guide me through it all. I didn't have to be afraid.

My relationship with Jesus grows everyday and I know He is always near. If I were to die tomorrow I know that I'd be in heaven with him and I have peace with that.
