Forgivness

Before I received eternal life I was very frustrated at a lot of things in my life.

My first memory of my drug abuser/alcoholic father was him smashing his head into our back door because my mom had locked him out of the house. There was pieces of glass and blood everywhere. That led to me being very scared, embarrassed, and worried to have any friends over.

Then a year ago at ashes to beauty I found out that it’s okay to still be upset about the past but Jesus gives us the strength to let go and forgive those that have done wrong.

Now that I have eternal life, I can forgive those that have hurt me in my past.

A loved one close to be made up so many lies, it really hurt me. But I forgave them as soon as I heard about them because I know Jesus loves me no matter what someone does or says.

I’m so glad I know that this amazing life that Jesus offers lasts forever and I am overwhelmed with excitement to be home with him when it is my time.
