Forgiven

I am thankful that the Lord has saved my soul and given me the righteousness of Christ. The longer I live the more I see just how much I need Him.

Even after the Lord had saved me at a young age my life was full of unconfessed sins. Things I had buried deep within me. Some things I had not confessed to God and some things I had not confessed to others. The longer I lived in that mindset it made it easier for me to lie or hide things. I got really good at living a double life. I became numb to some of my sins and started not to care how they affected others in my life. I was to self centered on my pleasure. Through God's grace in my life he has allowed me to understand that you can only be forgiven if you have confessed everything. God allowed me to confess my sins to Him and to those I had offended and receive forgiveness and a true desire to be transparent and live a "real" life.

When I stand before the Lord one day and He asks me why I should enter into his Heaven, all I can say is because of what Jesus has done!
