Firm Foundation

I'm glad that I have God in my life because it helps me prioritize what is and isn't good/important in life. Knowing that God will work things out for my good. Knowing that I can come to Him in my times of need.

I had an encounter with a nasty former manager at a job that I had left. God's Holy Spirit helped me to respond in a calm, more relaxed way, instead of lashing out or doing something that I would've regretted. Just knowing that I can rest on Him and that He is my Defender and Helper. The battle is the Lord's.

I can't deny God's presence in my life and times when I drew closer to Him and these "spiritual coincidences" that would happen in my life. Resting on Jesus Christ and His merits - not my own - is the only way that I or anyone else can go to heaven.
