Finding purpose in life through Jesus Christ

Before I received eternal life I had a growing feeling inside me of "something is missing". There had to be more to life.

Though I went to church growing up, to me it was just an activity, like going to school or work. It was something that you just did because you had to or were supposed to. Beginning in High School my parents let me decide to keep going to church or not. I chose to stop attending because I felt I was not getting anything out of it. Though I grew up in a good home with good parents and enjoyed a good upper middle class life, I thought that all was well. In my early 20's, a growing desire and hunger inside me led me to seek answers for more purpose and meaning to life. Though all looked well on the outside, all was not well on the inside. Though Christianity was my upbringing, I started reading eastern philosophies and world religions looking for the answers. I thought I had arrived after a while by mixing together what I thought was the best of all of them. As my 20's went by that sense of fulfillment faded and the hunger for purpose and meaning to life returned. The one true God started putting people in my life that had that answer I was seeking. I knew that they had "it" and could sense it on their inside and see it on their outside. That answer was eternal life. I found I too could have it and received eternal life in my early 30's. Ever since, I live in that purpose, fulfillment, contentment and peace that only the one true God can provide and I am certain that when I pass I will be in heaven with Him!

Through people God put in my path and reading in the scriptures that the free gift was for me too, I bowed my will to God's and received eternal life.

Now that I received eternal life I live to serve God and help people.

God has used me to help lead many to eternal life over many years.

God says in His word that by faith in Jesus Christ alone I have eternal life. I believe and trust Him. therefore I do have eternal life.
