Filling the Eternal Void of Purpose in My Life

I was looking for love and acceptance. There was a void and something within me that was missing.

I longed for acceptance at every place in my life. I had a loving family but there was a void in my life when it came to my friends and even my love life while in high school and college when it came to girlfriends and acceptance. Little did I know that God was keeping me from unhealthy relationships without me even knowing it. I found God all by myself and I realized that Jesus was the one that wanted to be my best friend. Jesus did not want other relationships to come between him and I.

I was longing for love and acceptance. I read a tract that a pastor gave me as I was leaving him. He never said a word to me about Jesus but gave me that tract. I read it over and over and over again and I prayed the prayer to invite Jesus Christ into my heart. That began my search to discover more and more of Jesus Christ.

After receiving Jesus Christ I had a hope and a future. I realized that God had a specific plan for my life. I finally felt the peace of God and I realized that God had an amazing plan for just for me. Now all I had to do was to wake up each morning and to discover that new plan every single day.

Life changed for me. My outlook changed every single morning as I met the new day. Even in challenges I realized that God was teaching me something very special about his character. And vastness and greatness of God and his son Jesus Christ is so vast and so great that it will take a life time and eternity to understand God.

I no longer live under depression or doubt. God has given me a total new outlook on life according to his eternal plan and according to his plan because he was the one that created me for his pleasure and purpose. My heart has been transformed and that is the one thing that only God can do. It is supernatural.
