Father to the fatherless: What A God!
Before I received eternal life, I was afraid of the pain of rejection and that something was missing. One day, I received the gift of eternal life when I gave my life to Jesus. My life started to immediately turn around, I had peace and God's love as if I had become a new person. I no longer seek approval of man but am secure in God and my worth is found in Him. Even in the midst of tumultuous times, I remain confident that God will save me and He has written my name in His book in heaven. A guarantee that I will be with God in heaven at the end of my life because I have believed in Jesus and have eternal life.
Before I received eternal life, I was afraid of the pain of rejection. I felt I had to be perfect to receive love. A lot of my perceive worth was in my performance.
I remember thinking if I do not perform as highly would they still appreciate and love me. Several time I felt something was missing but I did not know what it was.
Then I experienced transformation and peace when I received eternal life and realized God loved me irrespective of what I did. I was complete and accepted in Him. My heart filled with gratitude, I began to live a new life in God.
Now that I have eternal life, I no longer seek approval of man but am secure in God with my worth found in Him.
I recently had to be admitted to hospital for a surgery. I had never been before. Even in the midst of that tumultuous time, I was confident that whichever way it went, God has written my name in His book in heaven.
I am certain that I will be with God in heaven at the end of my life because I have believed in Jesus and have eternal life.
