False Happiness

Before receiving Jesús as my Lord and Savior I tried to act happy and funny but I really had a huge emptiness inside my soul.

I remember trying so many things to be happy and fill the void such as sports,drugs,alcohol, parties, and sex but nothing brought a true happiness or peace untill i began to have a true and saving faith in Jesus Christ.

I remember after hearing a message about Jesus in a church service when I was in my living room all alone and i called on Jesus with all my heart to have mercy on me and He did. He transformed me by coming into me by His Holy Spirit. I sensed a perfect love that broke me. He immediately forgave me of my sin and shame that was so deep and imbedded that I didn't even realize was there. Now i have the peace that passes all understanding and i am certain that if i were to die right now I would go to heaven but it wouldn't be because i deserve it. It is because i finally trusted my life over to Jesus with a saving and sincere faith.

Now i dont fear death. Jesus changed everything in the deepest part of my soul. He took away the emptiness and gave me true joy, love, and purpose.

I fly frequently and I pray thanking Jesus for the life He has given me and for all the souls on the plane that have not yet surrendered to Him. I no longer worry about what will happen with my soul because Jesus promised me eternal life and He lives inside of me.

I am certain that if today is my last day on this earth that i will live forever with Jesus in Heaven.
