Danika’s personal testimony
God is our consistent loving Father who is our peace provider. Being his daughter, I can walk confidently through this life knowing that God will never leave or forsake me.
I’m glad I have eternal life. God has given me purpose for life, to love and please him. He gives me confidence to face my fears and anxiety, trusting that he is bigger and my I AM!
When I was a child I had really unrealistic fears, the fan would become a monster, I’d think about having to jump out of my 2nd story bedroom window if there was a fire, I would be afraid someone was going to take me, etc. As I got older, the fears grew. I was always afraid of a school shooting happening, my parents dying, whether or not I’d be accepted by my peers, etc. Even now, if I’m not cautious the fear of losing my family or failing will creep in and cause problems. Throughout my life God has patiently met me with grace and continues to show me he is bigger than my fears and that he is constant. So even if one of my fears becomes reality, I have peace and life in him. God is my I AM!
The peace God gives me when I begin to feel afraid and the nearness of his presence in the midst of fears gives me confidence that I am God’s daughter. I am beloved by my Father in Heaven. I will be with him in Heaven one day.
