Christ is my Hope!
Christ is the hope that shines light into the darkness that had clouded my life.
I am glad that I have eternal life because in Christ I find hope to light my way.
All my life I have struggled with depression and feeling worthless. Things really came to a head my senior year of high school as I was trying to decide what to do with my life and dealing with a really bad break up. I remember about a month into my freshman year of college I was ready to take my own life. I was ready to be done with all the hurt and pain. But I remember feeling this presence filling me with hope. I knew that right then and there that God loves me and would always be with me no matter how far down in the depths I may feel.
I know without a doubt that God is my hope lighting the way no matter how dark my skies get. He is my hope both now and also for eternity.
