Christ Fulfillment

Before I became a Christian I would be disappointed. I was disappointed with people, jobs, even things that I bought for myself. I was self centered. I did whatever I wanted without regard for others.

I would ponder all the time about relationships, money and even possessions. Once I got what I wanted, I would be happy, but it was alway temporary. It wore off so fast and I was back in that same feeling of want and disappointment.

Then I discovered how to have eternal life and fulfillment that surpasses all that I ever wanted. I found that this world really has little to offer in comparison.

Now that I have given my life to Christ, I understand that this world can't fulfill or satisfy the hole inside of me. It will never be satisfied by people or things.

Today I see others doing the same things I once did. They buy nice cars and marry the perfect girl and I still see them unhappy with their lives. There is no hope in others or things that we place in our lives.

My life in Christ is fuller than what this world can offer. My life today is full. I can lose all I have and die tomorrow and that's okay. I hang on to the things of this world loosely. I know where my true treasure is.
