BROKEN: In need of a Father
I went from death with an UnGodly wife to life with a Godly woman who had similar ideals and spiritual paths. One was carnal and the other truly spiritual. Julie is definitely a mature Christian. I hope I can one day be the true leader that God has designed for me, in whom Jesus wants me to be under His guidance. Because Jesus loves me, I can love others and He helps me to undo all the unending selfishness of my past with His grace and mercy. Thank you JESUS! Amen.
BEFORE, it was like I was slowly killing myself!
If I were to be completely honest, the entire column of NEGATIVES was me mostly because of PRIDE/Self-Centeredness. I was a mess and I was negative and angry with everything and everyone including myself. Looking back, I was a "BIG spoiled baby". However, God had given me lots of opportunities, doors to walk through, that I passed on countless times through my wasted youth. I didn't start to mature until I had children of my own. BUT on no particular day (Age 31 OCT. 16, 2003 about 8:35 pm). Somebody called me from the church we were attending and asked if he could pray for me. I could recall the voice, but I never met the man. You could say he was one of the angels watching out for me. I was at a low point, in a deep valley spiritually, physically, and mentally. There wasn't mush of me that I was proud about and I needed to surface. I had already been on my knees about finances, and yes I was definitely a sinner. I'd broken all of the Commandments and my life peered beyond stagnant. There wasn't any fruit in my life, and because of my self-centeredness I was friendless and very empty. Anger/bitterness were replaced with peace, faith replaced fear, hope replaced the helplessness in my life all thanks to the free gift of God (GRACE). Living out principals that JESUS taught lead to less burden with finances, forgiving others lead to less anger, and I had a new hope/peace in the unconditional love that Jesus showed toward me. Jesus leads a lot better than I ever could; therefore He is my King, Lord, and Savior. In Him is the TRUTH, The WAY and the LIFE. I give Him praise for always being with me, even when I put Him on a Shelf or pushed Him away.
Someone (my angel) explained to me how I could have eternal life.
My thinking is clearer and I feel lighter because I'm not angry all of the time, while blaming others and making excuses.
Sure, I was mad at God when I lost my first daughter, but then my second daughter at age 10, and finally after my third daughter passed away, that I had with Julie, my 2nd wife. I eventually gave it all to God, for all is His.
I have confidence in the TRUTH that is before me in the Holy Bible. 1 John 5:13, John 14:2, Psalm 1:2-3 , for starters.
