Ben Heise's Story
My story is a story of God's grace toward one of the greatest of sinners.
Assurance that I am loved and have a future.
I remember living my life according to my own desires when I was in High School. The reality of my standing with God never left my mind. Because I knew that I belonged to Christ, my sinful lifestyle was cut short. I knew that Christ loves me and that the way I was living was hurting me and more importantly hurting Him.
I remember as a 6-year old boy fearing condemnation. I knew that if I died I would go to Hell. I shared my concern with my dad who shared the Gospel with me from the Bible in Romans. I remember praying and asking Christ to forgive me for my sins. I told Him I believed that He died and rose-again and asked Him to come into my life. I know the Bible teaches this is the way to salvation in Romans 10:9.
