An example of God's faithfulness

I am so grateful for the gift of eternal life because it has given me confidence and purpose in this life.

I understood the simplicity of the gospel at a young age: Christ died, was buried and resurrected on the third day. Because of his perfect sacrifice and his victory over sin and death, my belief in Him would grant me eternal life. Most of my life has been in relationship with Jesus but He has helped me in specific instances to increase my faith. Many times in my life I have come to a crossroads where overwhelming decisions have been in front of me. I've felt burdened by having to make difficult choices regarding: school, career aspirations, relationships etc. As I have trusted in the Lord, He has walked me through every decision. He has given me wisdom when I asked for it. He has never left me and continues to walk through life with me in every circumstance

I know that one day I will spend eternity with the creator of the universe because He has said so in His Word. His abundant eternal life promised in John chapter 10 resonates both in the present and in the future. Because I know how much He cares for me, I can trust His Word.
