Alton’s testimony
True satisfaction in life comes only from walking with Jesus.
Knowing that I have eternal life has given me true satisfaction, a sense of purpose, and knowing that God has forgiven me brings me great peace and security.
As a bass fisherman, I know way too much about getting a backlash in my fishing line and in my life. But God has guided me through the process of picking out the backlashes and getting a fresh start. In fact, He did the work for me. I’ve struggled deeply with some of the things most men struggle with, but my relationship with Jesus Christ helps me to achieve victory over the backlashes and walk in His peace.
I’m blown away by how God has continued to pursue me and meet me where I am in life. And I know for certain that I have eternal life and that someday I’ll be in heaven with the God of the universe.
