A Testimony of God's Healing Grace and Mercy
By keeping my eyes on Jesus, I have been able to move through life with grace while experiencing the effects of Multiple Sclerosis.
By trusting in God's plan for my life I have been able to focus on what is important, which is serving Him!
Thank you for the blessing of sharing my testimony! I was diagnosed with MS in 2015 and over the past few years have had many ups and downs living with this autoimmune disease as you can imagine. As a Catholic and born-again Christian, I have put my complete trust in the Lord. A side effect of MS is digestive issues, numbness, difficulty walking ( I use a cane) fatigue...etc. For the past few days leading up to Divine Mercy Sunday, I have been speaking out, crying out to the Lord, claiming my healing in Jesus’ name, while standing in front of the crucifix that is hanging above my front door. A week ago, after leaving my prayer meeting and eating some different foods as part of our refreshments, I realized that I didn't feel any discomfort in my stomach, when normally eating things that have gluten would effect me and I immediately thanked the Lord for healing my digestive system! Fast forward to this past weekend, I attended the final day of the Divine Mercy chaplet at my church and then went to a celebration of a friends diaconate/birthday. I noticed as I was leaving the party that I felt stronger. My left leg which has always been difficult to move due to the numbness, felt lighter and I could walk heel to toe which I hadn't been able to do before! Another prayer that was answered has to do with a reaction I was experiencing...not to get into too much detail but I noticed when I came home that evening, it had been cleared up and gone ever since! The Lord, in His mercy, is healing me. I claim it and receive His awesome love. All we have to do is put all of our trust in Him, trusting in His word, believing that in His time He will heal us, restore us and bring us to new life in Him. As Christians, it is important to share our testimonies with each other so I hope it is OK that I am sharing it with you. Thank you for the opportunity to give testimony to God's love and may God bless you always! In Christ's love; Bea
