A Story of no great significance, except for HIM.
I do have not great redemption story of how my life was changed. Raised in the church, strayed from the faith but not too far (truthfully it is always too far no matter how little we believe it is) and brought back to faith by the grace of God. I have a GREAT redemption story because my Redeemer is GREAT.
I am at peace in this world knowing that my soul is in God's hand and he has promised that I will spend eternity with him.
I was unemployed for eleven months, my wife and I had four school aged children and we were building our long planned house. Although it was hard at the time, I knew we were in God's care and he prepared me for that time. We had a strong financial resources and family and friends who aided just at the right time. By the twelfth month, just as the finances were running out, I found a local job, at which I excelled, and we completed building the house. Looking back losing my job was a blessing because it provided me more time to build the house and it took me away from a job that had repressive corporate politics which I was being drawn into.
I know God has given me skills and abilities in this life that are beyond my training and experience. He has given me peace when meeting the unknown. His Word tells me that when I seek his glory and turn over my plans to Him, He will establish my plan. His word also tells me that confessing my sins and accepting the sacrifice that he made for me will establish my adoption into his eternal family and he will take me into his kingdom.
Your testimony matters too
