A New Creature in Christ Jesus

Before I received eternal life, I was searching for meaningful life in drugs, sex, clubs and other entertainment. but all those things satisfied me only momentarily. When Christ came into my life, I found the peace and meaning of life - which has lasted decades.

I can remember driving from club scene to club scene looking for a good time. But often in the midst of the crowds I still felt an empty inside. Then thinking to myself, why do I feel this way? what's missing?

In Christ Jesus, that void was filled and the feelings of something missing vanished! Praise God.

Since I've been Born Again, the Lord Jesus has filled me with His Holy Spirit and given me His heavenly joy and comfort. In Christ, my fears are taken away. My worries no longer plague my thoughts. Now I can find comfort and hope in God's Word; through the many and amazing promises made to those who put their trust and hope in Christ Jesus. It's true, being in Christ Jesus makes you a New Creation.

I no longer feel the need to search for fun and happiness in things like clubs, drinking and entertainment. I can find peace and happiness in the simple day to day things of life.

There was a time in my life where I was afraid of dying and going to hell. But today, the Word of God and the Spirit of Christ gives me peace about death and the assurance I have a better life that awaits me after death.
