A Loner now an Heir to the Kingdom
A story of how God transformed a broken man who had filled his heart with everything but God, and how, after finding God, he was radically changed forever.
Before I met Christ I was a broken man who filled the hole in his heart with addictions, hatred, and so much guilt and shame.
When I felt isolated in high school I would go into the search for porn or bring other people down so they could feel what I felt.
Then I discovered the love that God the Father has for me and the promises he gives to his followers.
Now I am a follower of Christ and I have never found such an overwhelming joy. A joy that helps me go through the hardest of circumstances with hope. The love of Christ has filled the hole in my heart and washed out the hate and addictions that were there before.
An incident where my mom became homeless I had to give up my dream of playing college football, but God provided such joy and hope that helped me overcome the battles that came with that. Instead of going into addictions and hatred this time, I went to Christ and felt his overwhelming love and joy.
Now, with my relationship with Christ, circumstances never bring me down. I never feel unloved because I forever have a. hope, joy, and love in Christ that will never go away. I never have to worry about circumstances making me feel alone, defeated, unloved, and isolated.
