My Story
Joy and Peace
Before I had a relationship with Jesus I looked for happiness and fulfillment and even love in all my circumstances. I was miserable most of the time.
I spent lots of time in bars looking for fulfillment and love in all the wrong places. I tried changing jobs where I traveled a lot, I even moved to another state. Nothing seemed to fill that need for happiness and contentment.
Then I discovered true inner peace and joy in a relationship with Jesus.
I found a peace and joy that is unexplainable. I realized I didn't have to go to bars to find that peace and joy I was looking for.
Recently I realized how thankful I am to have that joy. I am caregiver to a husband with a serious memory problem and is going blind, I could worry about our financial future, I have had health problems but even with all of that, I have an inner peace and joy I cannot explain.
I no longer have to look for happiness and peace in outside circumstances. I am experiencing the full live that Jesus offers and know that if I were to die right now, I will be with Jesus in heaven.
