Faith: My Rescue Boat
Jesus has given me peace beyond anything I could have asked for.
I am a perfectionist and a planner, so I used to worry all the time about where my family would end up in a few years, what job I would have, would it be enough to provide, what car I would drive, what church to go to, what friends to have etc. etc. I was constantly burdened with fear and worry of what the future would bring. I wanted to have complete control. I knew that Jesus loved me and that he wanted the best for me, but I struggled releasing control of my life. After accepting that I was miserable and that I could not do it on my own, I gave my life, my whole life, to Jesus and ever since I have had a feeling of complete peace. I put my faith and trust in Him and it has changed my life.
This life is great and with Jesus we can live life to the fullest just as He says we can, but what is even better is that He has given us the wonderful gift of living life forever with Him in Heaven. If I were to die this very day, I know for certain that I would go to Heaven for eternity.
