I now know that no matter what circumstance I find myself in, I can have true joy in it.
I remember during my sophomore year of college my mother was diagnosed with brain cancer. I was so worried about her and the operation, but I knew that no matter what happened I would see her one day again in heaven.
That knowledge gave me peace during the whole thing.
