Peace, despite turmoil

As a teenager there was lots of chaos at home, I remember wondering, is there more to life than this?
Then someone shared with me how I could have eternal life
Once I understood I was going to heaven, it gave me peace.
God's provided peace, truly peace, I received word my brother accepted Christ, just days before suffering a fatal stroke, in his 30's. His life was difficult, I knew he was much better off in heaven.
I believe, it I were to die today, I'd be with God in heaven.
