My Story
Before I recieved Eternal life I used to think that I would have to become perfect to be accepted by God
I did not know what would happen to me when i got older and I hoped that by the time I was really old I could be perfect. I had no security about eternity!
This was unfulfilling because I wanted to know for certain what my purpose in life was and what would happen to me when i died
When I was in highschool my parents made me attend a youth group called crossfire. i enjoyed it and went along on their end of year camp. On this camp I saw that there was something different in the lives of the other teenagers. I saw that they had purpose and knew what would happen to them if they died
Then, It was explained to me how I could receive eternal life. I made a decision on that camp to recieve eternal life
Having recieved eternal life, I gained both a purpose for my current life and certainty about what would happen when I died. Now I know for sure that I will go to heaven and I get to live in relationship with God now the way that he has designed me to. I believe that this relationship allows me to have the most fulfilling life possible - life that does not end!
