"Question Answered"

Before I had assurance of eternal life, my life was full of uncertainty. In fact, there was a time in my life that I began to question what would have happened to me if I had died in a near tragic car accident at the age of 15. Where would I have gone if I had not made it out alive?
As a troubled teen, I felt a void in my life. I turned to alcohol and drugs to cover up my emptiness, but it only made things worse. There was still that question of uncertainty that was left unanswered until a few years later.
It was then, that someone special came into my life that God place directly in my path to show me how I could have eternal life and have an abudant life. Now I know for certain that if I where to die today, I would spend eternity with God in heaven.
From that moment on, I never again questioned where I would spend eternity. I now have a peace and assurance that I never had before.
There still has been times in my life, since my life changing experience, that have been hard to face. My father took his life a year ago and I also had lost my unborn baby a week later. Despite all that I was going through, I felt the presence of God. He was right beside me the whole time.
For as long as I shall live, I know for certain that when I die, I will be in heaven with God. Nothing can take that away from me.
