I felt as though i needed to work out what career path i would take after leaving school, thinking that that was where i would find my purpose.
Overtime, this area in my life disappointed me because i couldn't decide what is was that i wanted to do.
Before i received eternal life i also put my trust into things like alcohol. I would go out with friends and get involved in things and situations that i thought at the time were fun and purposeful.
Then, I received eternal life.
After i received eternal life, i noticed that my life gradually changed to a point where i had no interest in going out and putting myself in bad situations anymore. I found that i was happier and having more fun than i'd ever had before.
I'm glad that i have eternal life because I've found that life is fulfilled by God and not by the other things i'd put my trust in.
I realised God had a plan for me and that i didn't have to worry about what career i was going to do. God then took me on a great adventure to Thailand on a short term mission where He revealed to me a passion I'd never known of. I can't wait to see what God has in store for my life and how he will use my passion. His plan and purpose are way better than anything i could plan for myself so i have have peace in that.
Even better still though I now know that not only do i have life to the full here and now but i also have eternal life and am going to heaven when i die.
