My Story
All the Time
As a tenager, I felt I had all the time in the world to make a decision concerning my eternal life.
But at 16, my brother who was a freshman in college was killed instantly in an airplane crash. I realized then that I may not have all the time I may want or need. I had no guarantees that I wouldn't get hit by a car on my way to school or some other accident. This brought concern for my spiritual condition.
Then someone shared with me how I could receive eternal life.
I now have peace, instead of concern.
My brother's watch was one thing that I saw of his after the accident. It had stopped and broken...time had run out for my brother; but because I know I'm going to heaven when I die, time won't run out on me now.
I feel I have much to live for here on earth. I have meaning and purpose in my life. I also have peace in knowing where I will spend eternity.
